On Sept. 26, District 45 families came together for a colorful celebration of art, culture and community at Frida Fest.
Families jumped into hands-on activities throughout the event, creating bracelets, flower crowns and mini canvas art. Face painting added to the colorful festivities, while giant Tetris and Connect 4 brought some friendly competition to the celebration.
The entertainment continued with live performances that drew families together to watch energetic breakdancing and paired Latin dance performances.
A celebration to remember! A big thank you to Frida Community Organization and the community partners who helped make another memorable Frida Fest possible for District 45 families.
